Accreditation evidence

Produced as you go, not assembled the month before.

Qualeron makes accreditation-readiness evidence a first-class operational record, linked to the decisions and studies that produced it. This page shows where each piece lives.

Illustrative example: what an accreditation submission asks for, and where each piece already lives: how the cut score was set, in the standard-setting study; that the examination measures something, in the item statistics and approved analyses; that candidates have due process, in the due-process record; that recertification is real, in the audited renewals — kept by default, in a form you can export; before it, the technical report's evidence manifest, hashed and frozen; after it, the event record: a result released, a cut score adopted, an analysis approved, each written as it happened with who did it and why.

01 The position

Software that keeps the record, not a consultant who reconstructs it

Accreditation against NCCA standards or ISO/IEC 17024 turns, in practice, on whether a body can produce records of decisions it made years ago: how the passing standard was set, whether the items work, who decided a contested result and on what basis, whether renewal requirements are actually verified. Bodies fail on documentation far more often than on practice.

A platform that treats those records as a reporting afterthought leaves a body reconstructing them under deadline, from email. Qualeron makes accreditation-readiness evidence a first-class operational record, linked to the decisions and studies that produced it, because the same records are what makes a decision defensible on the day it is made.

02 What a submission asks for

And where it already lives

  • How the cut score was setThe standard-setting study: method, date, facilitator, panel, the minimally-competent-candidate definition, the rounds, the recommendation and the rationale — with the superseded studies still there.Psychometrics →
  • That the examination measures somethingDifficulty, point-biserial and upper–lower discrimination, and distractor analysis per item, per sitting; reliability, decision consistency and fairness review, each approved by a second person; the technical report with its frozen evidence manifest.Exam development →
  • That eligibility is applied consistentlyModelled requirements, each application storing the rules as they stood that day, structured answers, evidence per requirement, and a reviewer decision with a reason. The platform →
  • That candidates have due processA concern raised in words, a window to answer, a decision with a reason, and an appeal heard by somebody who took no part. Item challenges with an outcome that propagates to every affected score. Results and due process →
  • That the examination was delivered as designedA frozen paper per sitting, reconstructable from its form; check-in and incidents at test centers with the reviewer kept apart from the reporter; accommodations applied on the record.Exam integrity →
  • That recertification is realA versioned renewal policy, CE claims against approved providers, provider-reported completions, and a percentage of renewals audited against evidence.Credentials →

03 Who did what

Every governed act, with the actor named

  • A result released, a credential revoked, a fee waived, a cut score adopted, a candidate seated past a full window
  • Written to an event record as it happens, with who and why
  • Read first by any review

Every governed act — a result released, a credential revoked, a fee waived, a cut score adopted, an analysis approved, a candidate seated past a full window, an accommodation decided, an access right granted — is written to an event record with the actor named and the reason recorded, as it happens. The audit history is what a review reads first, and it is kept by default rather than assembled on request.

04 What this is not

A claim we are not making

Qualeron is not an accrediting body, does not grant accreditation, and cannot promise an outcome. Accreditation is a judgment made about your program by NCCA, ANAB or another body, on evidence you submit and defend.

What we will say is narrower and checkable: the records those bodies ask for are kept here, by default, in a form you can export, and you will not be reconstructing them from email the month before you submit. If you are preparing a submission now, say so on the quote form and we will walk the standards against what the platform actually holds.

Tell us how many candidates you certify and what you run today. You will get a written quote against the published plans — not a discovery call before a number.
